Brian Shin (he/him/his)

I am currently a postdoctoral fellow at University of Toronto Scarborough. Previously, I was an assistant adjunct professor at University of California Los Angeles. I completed my Ph. D.  in 2022 at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Broadly, my mathematical interests lie at the intersection of homotopy theory and algebraic geometry.

I was born and raised in western New York. When I'm not working, I enjoy listening to music, annoying my cat Mochi, playing cello, and fermenting foods.
